KOCOWA offers a variety of accessibility features for users with hearing, sight, or physical mobility concerns. These features include subtitles and subtitle options, font size adjustments, keyboard controls, and navigation aids.
However, we kindly ask for your understanding as not all content is 100% supported. Additionally, Audio descriptions being integrated into dubbing are not available at this time. However, we are committed to continuously improving our service and will strive to offer better accessibility features in the future.
1. Subtitles & Subtitle Options
All content available on the KOCOWA platform is Korean content. Thus, KOCOWA provides English subtitles by default, and some content also offers subtitles in Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, or Chinese. The availability of these options depends on the content and region.
Currently, KOCOWA provides SDH (“subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing”) for a limited number of titles. However, we are working to expand the selection of content. If you have a disability and would like to watch a specific title with SDH, please let us know at support@kocowa.com. We will prioritize adding SDH subtitles for that content
To enable subtitles or to choose a language, click the gear icon in the video player.
Note: You can customize the font, size, and background color of the subtitles by clicking the subtitle button, which appears when you click the gear icon in the video player.
Mobile App
Click the three dots in the video player, then follow the instructions above.

On Smart TVs, you can navigate subtitles in the KOCOWA app by selecting " 'Subtitles' in the 'Settings' screen.
